Learn Italian online

Platial

Platial is a new WordPress widget (a widget is a way to add features to your website, btw)  which I discovered only yesterday.  It lets me put an interesting little map on my blog and I can add places to it, too.  I’ve already added a few and will continue to do so.

I intend to add places of interest, useful places, places to eat and drink, and anything else I think might be interesting or useful.  I am open to suggestions too, so suggest away if you like.

Stop reading, start speaking

Stop translating in your head and start speaking Italian for real with the only audio course that prompt you to speak.

Oh, and if you have one of those GPS things, you should be able to use the latitude and longditude information to locate the places I add.  This may be useful if you ever come to Milan.

I quite like this idea, as it will let me provide more information about Milan and other places I know.  This info, I hope, will be useful to anyone who is thinking about coming to Italy, and especially Milan.

Something similar accompanied by ‘dips’ often appears at barbecues and dinner parties, but it’s something which can be served every day.
