I’ve been digging around on You Tube again, and I dug this up. OK, so it’s not a video. It’s more of a promotional slide show with commentary, but, whatever, Sardinia is one beautiful place, as you will see if you watch.

Hi Alex
Sorry I’m a bit thick! Yes I do agree with you an “about” entry would be a good idea, I’ll add. I also intend to add some form of forum/comments area yet again a good idea. As far as linking the maps I can easily the only problem is the loading time if it has too much info on board but I can restrict and create a larger scale one am currently working on another site. Thanks for your comments. Peter

One other thing Peter. Could you integrate the maps on all the sites – so I can see the Sardinia points of interest from the Tuscany site, for example, and vice versa?
This may help others hop between your sites.
Just a suggestion.

Alex

Hi Peter,
The ‘About’ section of my little blog tells visitors a little bit about me.
I think your interesting sites would benefit from this too – I’d like to know a little more about who is behind the sites, why they are doing them and where you are going to go, so to speak.
Might even encourage others to ask you to do more similar sites too.
Have you thought about adding a commenting system too?
The maps are really good, by the way. Now if only I can find a way of integrating them with my Platial Map system….!
Cheers,
Alex

Sorry not quite sure “about” there are various sections. Have already extended to Tuscany: http://www.360tuscany.net/ and will add other areas if people find it useful/interesting.

Jan,
For info about Sardinia, take a look at the link provided by Peter above – there appears to be a lot of interesting stuff on the site.
Worth checking out.
Alex
@Peter,
Thanks for the link – the sites look very interesting, and the video views are very nice.
Can’t find any ‘About’ info on the site, which is a shame.
And are you going to extend this to the rest of Italy?
Thanks for dropping in.
Best regards,
Alex
