Guess The Italian – Part 1

New for 2011 on BlogfromItaly.com – Guess the Italian! How well do you know the movers and shakers and celebrities of Italy?

This fun quiz will test your knowledge of Italians. It’s not going to be too easy – you’ll only be shown a piece of the Italian concerned and that piece might not be too clear or for a little extra entertainment, it’ll be distorted.

Here’s part one of the new Guess the Italian quiz series to tingle those post New Year celebration addled brain cells. I want the name of the person and what she or he does for a living.

Fun quizzes like this can help you get to know who is in the news in Italy and this may be of interest if you are coming to live and/or work in Italy.

You have until Saturday  – Italian time – to make your best guess and you can guess as many times as you like via a comment.

Who is this Famous Italian?

This quiz is purely for fun, but prizes could be offered in the future. We’ll see!

OK, let the guessing begin!

  1. Hi Alex,

Is it the president Giorgio Napolitano?
( If so, he is looking a bit worse for wear in this photo).
I like this new fun feature and also your new tips for learning Italian – very useful information.

    Buon Anno!

Good to see you around again.

Alas, no, it is not President Napolitano. Keep guessing.

  3. Hi Alex,

It’s Giulio Tremonti, the current Minister of Economy and Finance.

No prizes? What a shame! :-)
