Then again, perhaps you are thinking about visiting the 2015 Milan Expo which runs from May 1 to October 31 2015. If you are, then you may like to consider these hotels for your Expo visit. If you are planning to visit the Expo in Milan, you should also start thinking about booking accommodation fairly soon these hotels in Milan are likely to fill up fast.

The hotels on this list, compiled via Booking.com, have been highly rated by guests. You might also like to note that unlike a certain other travel rating website, it’s not as easy to leave fake reviews on Booking.com because only guests who have actually stayed in the hotels can review them.

On to the three luxury hotels Booking.com clients consider to be the best luxury hotels in central Milan.

1. Armani Hotel Milan  – 5 Star – not only does this centrally located hotel carry a rating of 9.0 – Superb, I can confirm it’s in an excellent location. There’s a rooftop terrace which is a great place to relax in the evenings. Lovely views too. For upmarket shopping, a very short stroll away is elegant Via Montenapoleone and beautiful Via della Spiga. Don’t miss the lovely shops in Via Manzoni too, including, of course, the Armani store.

2. The Gray – 5 Star. This luxury hotel is located right slap bang in Milan’s centre. Rated 8.0 – Very Good. The Gray is perfect if you want to be right in the midst of Milan close to shops and restaurants.

Hotel Principe Di Savoia – 5 Star. Not quite that central but close to Milan’s central railway station, the Principe di Savoia is undeniably elegant. It’s very highly rated by guests at 9 – Superb. The standard of accommodation is everything you should expect from a luxury hotel too.

Palazzo Parigi Hotel & Grand Spa Milano – 5 Star. Situated a 5 minute walk away from Milan’s upmarket Brera district, this luxury Milan hotel comes with a rating of 9.1 – Superb.
