Video: Tornado Hits ILVA Steel Works in Taranto

A tornado hit Taranto, Italy today leaving death and destruction in its wake

As if a possible closure leaving 20,000 families without an income were not enough, the controversial ILVA steelworks in Taranto, Italy was struck by a major tornado today, as these videos show.

According to Italian media reports, the whirlwind may have claimed 3 lives, injured 20, damaged Taranto and sections of the ILVA steel plant.

Six of those slightly injured were children in a local primary school.
