Recently Italian newspapers have carried details of two fiddles involving supposedly legitimate traffic control systems.
The Codice Fiscale is an alpha numeric code which is assigned to all Italians at birth. Anyone who comes to live and work in Italy will need this code too.
If you are coming to Italy on your holidays this summer, then watch your speed, otherwise you will end up on camera, and a fine will drop through your letterbox at some time in the future.
