I don’t know why. Maybe it’s got nothing to do with Prodi, but it could be the new Mayor of Milan, Moratti, anyway, the streets seem dirtier than usual. Litter lingers and there seems to be more doggy-do all over the place (hop scotch anybody?) than ever before. Makes the place look rather scruffy. Possibly a new policy aimed at saving money – ie ‘Only clean the places which are the most frequented.’ Who knows? Funny how you notice these things. My other half has noticed too, and I bet we are not alone.
