Maths or math if you hail from the other side of the Atlantic has never been a strong point of mine. I find simple arithmetic, well, not simple. I have used a calculator since I was able to push buttons, well almost.

Stop reading, start speaking

Stop translating in your head and start speaking Italian for real with the only audio course that prompt you to speak.

Now, at the last moment, as usual, I discover that I'm going to have to become an overnight expert on statistics. You know, standard deviation, population means, coefficients of correlation and all that jazz, and I have an evening to revise the theory (Yes, I've studied this stuff before – in a past life) and apply it all meaningfully. Eek!

I need a nice copy of the Hitch hikers guide to the galaxy – those nice big words 'Don't Panic' may help a little.
