Before I came to Italy I was not a fan of white wine. For me, wine had to be red and nothing else. Well, times change, and as a result of living in Italy for a good few years, I’ve developed a liking for Italian white wines.
I’m not the only one either, by the looks of things.
David Brenner, who is doing a very interesting series of video wine reviews, has recently taken a look at two whites from the Campania region of Italy. He also mentions what kind of food the two wines he tastes go well with. Wine buffs call this wine pairing, and knowing which wines go well with which foods can really make meals memorable.

I really do think these video reviews of Italian wines are an excellent way of spreading the word on Italy’s excellent wines. What surprises me enormously is that Italy’s tourism or wine producers have not done this before.

David also gives each of these white wines from Italy’s Campania region a rating out of ten, which I won’t reveal – you’ll just have to watch the video to find out!

Wine buffs should take a look at David’s Abruzzo blog and might well like to think about staying in his Villa’s for Two Abruzzo apartments too.
Note to Italy’s wine producers: Send David Brenner a few cases of your wines for review! I can assure you he’ll be very happy!
