David Brenner, if you did not know, is an ex-BBC man who’s set up shop in Italy – he and his wife run the Villas for 2 holiday villa rentals business in Abruzzo, Italy.
As well as being a fan of Italy’s Abruzzo region, David is a huge wine fan, and, by the sounds of it, a huge wine drinker too! David himself is not huge though, I feel I ought to point out.
Well, after writing a number of articles on wine on his Villas for 2 blog, David’s come up with the really bright idea of doing wine tasting videos. And they are very good, as you would expect from a former BBC presenter. Not only this, but these videos are well worth watching if you are thinking of visiting Italy’s Abruzzo region and you’d like to know which wines to order while you are touring the region and its eateries.
Of course, if you are a wine fan and would like to pass a few balmy evenings chatting about wine, you should perhaps go find out more about Villas for 2. I’m sure David will be more than happy to organise a few wine tasting sessions.
I’ve had a word with David and he’s said its OK for me to pop some of his ItalyVino wine tasting videos here on Italy Chronicles for all to sample.
Thanks David! Now, on to his ItalyVino video on tasting Pecorino Frizzante, a bottle of which I’ve been trying to get hold of here in Milan – but none of my local shops, so far, have had any.

Italy Vino – David Brenner Tastes and Reviews Pecorino Frizzante, a white Italian sparking wine
David also kindly wrote a piece for me on Italian wines for the festive season – and even if the festive season is a little way off, his tips are worth reading.
More of David’s wine videos will follow.
And if anyone can tell me where to find Pecorino Frizzante in Milan, Italy – I’m all ears!
