One of my students; and I deal with the less advanced levels; managed to land what could well be the job of this person’s dreams. This person attended two interviews and spoke in English in both of them. I should also mention that my student also happened to have just about the perfect CV for the position offered, but this student told me that my English course had helped more than a little. This student was chuffed and I was very pleased too.

Stop reading, start speaking
Stop translating in your head and start speaking Italian for real with the only audio course that prompt you to speak.
It’s good to know that you are doing something right and to see some real signs of success. This sort of situation gives me a great sense of job satisfaction. It’s not isolated either, but this was a real demonstration of what someone can do when they believe in themselves…….and pay attention in class.
OK, so this is a bit of ‘trumpet blowing’ on my part. But what the heck, I don’t do it very often.
