Working up to the last minute

This is quite an unusual year for me.  Poor little me.  Usually by the end of July just about all of my courses have dried up and everyone is has gone off on their summer breaks.  Not this year.  And I’ve had to do a several quite complex translations which have kept me rather busy.  Mustn’t grumble though, work means cash and cash means more opportunities to do things….and higher taxes.

Still we’ll be off to Tuscany shortly for a nice two week break.  I’m not even sure where we are going, the holiday was organised by friends, you see. But, to tell the truth, I don’t really care where we’ll end up.  It’s quite difficult to find yourself in a dump in sunny Italy, so I am not at all worried.  Can’t wait to do a bit of chilling out.  You know, sitting outside until late, drinking a nice glass of wine and chatting with friends.  Good stuff.
