That’s interesting – not

I've just read on the www that the Winter Olympics in Turin are proving to be one of the most popular Olympics ever in terms of web interest levels. Wow! Really?

Now this is not a great surprise, not at all. Low cost broadband or other high-speed connections to the www are now proliferating, as are audio and video streaming services. Not to mention the number of people who probably only got computers to get onto the www since the last Olympics.

It annoys me when the news points out the blindingly obvious, it really does.
