I do mention in the article that Roccaraso is in Abruzzo, and I do know that Abruzzo is a lovely region, I think I say this too – but I have not been there. Anyway, the article is not really about Abruzzo, it is about Roccaraso, which happens to be in the Abruzzo region.

I don’t think the hotel owners, shop owners and ski resort operators would object too much to my promoting part of the Abruzzo region, even if I am a mere ‘tourist’.

Anyway, it is always interesting to hear other peoples points of view.

I learnt just before I came over to Italy, many moons ago, but I never really got any good.If I ever find the time, I shall find a nice simple piste, take a few lessons and just spend some time practising.Skiing is something I always wanted to learn to do, and I used to be fit enough to do it.
