Aiuta Guang Li A Trovare Il Suo Portatile

Reader Guang Li wrote to tell me that he lost his laptop on the 9th August on a train between Genoa and Florence.

On his laptop, which was a black HP model, there were prized photos of a trip round Europe, and six years worth of dissertation research.

The operating system was in Chinese.   Guang Li would like his computer back, if at all possible, and he will pay a reward – but only once his computer is back in his hands.

I’m going to make an exception and post something in, badly written, Italian, so here goes.  Corrections more than welcome!

Portatile Perso

    Hi Alex,
Nice of you to care to post this….
I’m an ESL teacher and found your blog…hmmm..how did I find it? I think trying to find other teachers of ESL/EFL who were also trying to learn Italian (or some such!). I was looking for “teacher” recommendations of learning material (written, reference, audio, video etc….) as well as some anecdotes about teaching English. Thanks for what you have written.

    HI, Kathy ,

Are you looking for ESL teaching material, or stuff to help you learn Italian? Or both!

And thanks for giving the thumbs up to my written Italian.

Good luck with learning Italian – watching TV helps, as does finding an Italian other half.

    Best,

    Alex
