I did suggest calling the authorities, but OH wanted to try and find the parents first.To be fair to the parents, I don&#039;t think they noticed.  This can happen, especially when distracted at something like a wedding, and especially if someone says, &#039;oh she&#039;s over there&#039;, or you see some other child and think it is yours.I did manage to get lost on a couple of occasions as a child - it happens, and my parents were very attentive.I&#039;ll pass on your compliments to my OH.
